Repair management is a crucial part of any business because it ensures the maintenance and quality of the company’s products, which is required to maintain the business’s customer-friendly nature. The Odoo 15 Repairs module allows users to efficiently handle many product repair procedures at the same time, as well as order them properly to reduce clutter.
The Repairs module is fully connected with Maintenance and Inventory modules, allowing you immediate access to the products, equipment, and staff needed to execute repairs on the products or equipment.
Opening the Repairs module all Repairing orders are displayed, along with their details.
You can quickly create and manage Repair orders by clicking the Create button.
Add the description for the repair order in the Repair description area. Keep in mind that you must check that the description is correct and that the repair request is justified. Select the product that needs to be fixed. Add the number of products that need to be fixed in the Product quantity field. Choose the customer who has complained about the product’s problem. In terms of configurations, the delivery address will be auto-filled. You can select the sales order from the Sales order field. In the Responsible area, you can also select the person who will be in charge of the operation. The repair Schedule date can be entered in the Scheduled date field. Select the location, warranty expiration date, invoice method, and tags for quick identification.
As part of fixing the main product, you can select the Type to Add or Remove the sub-product and select the product from the product field, and the remaining fields will be filled in automatically based on the product parameters. You can also add or remove several goods or components at the same time.
You can select Operations and it might be added based on the repair order and the product. In the Repair notes section, you can type in your notes. You can add any message to the quotations in the Quotations Notes section.
To confirm the product’s repair after the configurations, press the Confirm Repair button. By using the Send Quotation button, you may also send a repair order quotation right away. After clicking confirm repair, click the Start Repair button to begin the repairing process.
By pressing the End Repair or Cancel Repair buttons, which appear immediately after clicking the Start Repair button, you can now stop or cancel the processes.
Back to the dashboard, you can see the status of the repair orders. By clicking on the star next to the repair orders, you may set the priority level on the reports.
Repair tags allow managing many reports while making it simple for the manufacturing team to obtain the reports in the case of an emergency repair. You can access the repair tags from the configuration menu.
A repairing module is a solution for successful repair management. You can quickly and easily produce and manage various repair reports.
