The Odoo 15 Fleet module is customized to the demands of businesses and delivers company vehicles to employees for the duration of their employment. In the Fleet module, users can create Contracts, Vehicle Models, Services, Manufacturers, and Cost Analysis. A company’s fleet managers oversee operations, and it’s difficult for one individual to keep track of everything manually at times. The Fleet module makes it simple to manage a vehicle’s operations. A Fleet management system increases a company’s revenue and efficiency. The proper updating of a fleet can help a company’s performance and production.

Vehicles

On the Fleet dashboard, users can apply operations in Kanban view under several stages such as New, To Order, Ordered, Registered, Reserve, and more.

The License Plate, Model, Driver, Immatriculation Date, and Tags are displayed in various colors in the List view of Vehicles window. By clicking on a certain title name, you can get detailed information about a model. The three-dot button lets you add a custom field to an existing vehicle list.

You can see the overall count of each car in the Pivot view. By using Custom Groups such as Fuel Type, Model, Brand, and Status, it is possible to see the count and also by selecting a variety of measures. Using Flip axis/Expand all, the Pivot table accesses users in flip and expansion forms.

The Activity view of the Vehicles shows a list of activities related to vehicles on a specific date. The Plus icon on the left side can be used to add a new vehicle activity to the schedule.

Create a new vehicle

To create new vehicles go to the Vehicles window and click the Create button.

You may customize the Model, License Plate, and Tags in the New Vehicle. It is possible to create a new model using the Vehicle Models menu in the Configuration tab. As a result, you can select the vehicle model from the drop-down list. Within the Driver’s title, select your Driver and the Future Driver. Using the Assignment Date, select a precise date for the vehicle’s availability. The vehicle’s official registration date is entered in the Immatriculation Date field. The Chassis Number, which is written on the vehicle motor, can be added by users. In the Last Odometer choice in Kilometers/Meters, the measurement of a vehicle at the time of log is used. You can add a fleet location and select the Fleet Manager and Company.

Within the Fiscality area of the Tax Info, you can add Horsepower Taxation and the Disallowed Expense rate start date. After that, contract specifics such as the First Contract Date, Catalog, Purchase, and Residual Value can be applied. The value of the purchased automobile is applied to the Catalog Value.

Under the Model tab, specify the car model and engine. In Model-Year and Transmission Uses in a Vehicle, enter the model’s year. You can also input the number of seats and doors in the Seat Number/ Door Number field. Select your vehicle’s color, and in the Engine part, input the Horsepower and Power. Choose the fuel type, enter the vehicle’s CO2 emissions in kilometers and Co2 Standard.

In the Notes area, provide any additional information about the vehicle, and after that click the Save button.

Below the stages, there are submenus for Employee, Drivers History, Contracts, Services, and Odometer. Within the Odometer submenu, the vehicle’s odometer value is displayed.

By selecting the Employee menu, you can view the employee’s details. Select the Cars menu from the employee profile to have a look at an employee’s car.

You can see the created vehicle for your employee under the registered stage in the History Employee Cars.

Opening the Drivers History tab, you can see the list of drivers, their start date, end date, and attachments. It also supports creating a new driver for your vehicle. 

By selecting the Contracts menu, you can view the vehicle’s contract details.

The Services tab displays the data about the services of the Vehicle. New services can be added by clicking the create button and filling in all the details.

The Odoo 15 Fleet module makes managing a company’s fleet of vehicles simple. The Fleet module is linked to the Employee module to handle a company’s employee procedure.
