Configuring New Public Holidays & Stress Days in Odoo 16
Public holidays and stress days can vary greatly from one country or region to another, and new holidays may be introduced or existing ones may be modified over time. It is therefore important to configure these Time Off days in the module to efficiently manage the process of leave by the managers.
In Odoo, we can create, edit, and remove Stress days and Public Holidays according to the change in location, company policies, and political situations. This can be easily done in the ‘Time Off’ module in Odoo.
Creating Public Holidays
Time Off Application =>Configuration menu =>Public Holidays => New.
In the public holidays page, we can enter the Name of the public holiday, Company, Start date, End date, Working hours, and Work Entry type. After entering the details, click on the ‘Save’ button at the top left corner of the page to update and configure the created public holiday in the Time Off module.
Creating Stress Days
Time Off Application =>Configuration menu =>Stress Days =>New
This is nothing different than selecting Public Holidays.
The Stress Days page contains details such as the Name of the stress day, Start date, End date, Color, and the Departments in which the stress day is applicable. After creating the new stress day and entering the details, click on the ‘Save’ button to update and configure the changes in the Time Off application. We can also remove a stress day created by selecting the ‘Discard’ button next to the Save option.
