Putaway Rules in Odoo 16

The Odoo Inventory module provides the ability to define putaway rules, which are crucial for efficient warehouse management. Putaway rules determine the location where incoming goods should be placed based on various criteria such as product category, storage zone, weight, or any other attributes. By implementing putaway rules, the risk of storing products inaccurately can be mitigated. For instance, in a warehouse that stores explosive substances, it is essential to prevent reactive products from being stored close to each other. Therefore, the Putaway rules feature in Odoo plays a vital role in maintaining product freshness, safety, and accurate inventory quantities.
