The Odoo introduced the e-learning aspects for transferring knowledge virtually from one person to another. The E-learning model is a tool for supporting where the courses can be defined, forums can be created and certification programs can be conducted and managed. Individuals are drawn to online courses because of the time commitment and interesting facts. With the growth and accessibility of the internet, we can witness changes in every industry. People with flexible time and access to the internet can access digital resources from any location.

In the eLearning Overview, you may get an analysis of the courses you’ve prepared. In the Kanban view, you can see the contents, number of attendees, reviews, views, and duration. By selecting the View Course, you will be sent to the course’s website view. The three-dot button next to the Course title allows you to delete, edit, add lessons and contact attendees to your course.

For creating a new course click the create button.

Enter the Course title. Add tags to your course, tags are used to categorize the courses. Finally, there are various tabs to view, including Content, Descriptions, Options, and Karma. Using the Content Tab, you can create content for a course. When you click the Add Section button, a new space appears in front, and can add a section for your course.

When you select the Add Content option you will be directed to a new window.

Fill in the Content Title and Tags and choose the Type. The Type will be generated automatically based on the attributes of a document. In the Uploaded by option, you can enter the URL of a Youtube or Google document as well as the name of the Responsible Person. The Duration option includes a time estimate for a slide’s completion. Anyone can view your course if you enable the Allow Preview option. The Allow Download option allows users to download the content. By clicking the Upload Your File option, you can attach the course content. Under the Description tab, you may provide a description. In the Additional Resources tab, click the Add a line button below the External Links to insert the link and title. Then, under the Resources tab, use the Add a line option to add the course name and file. The Add a line option in the Quiz tab is used to add questions for the audience and set Rewards for the number of attempts. The Statistics tab shows the number of views from the members, public, and comments. You can use the camera button on the right end to add images that relate to your Content Title. Click the Save & Close button to save the content.

The Add Certification button on the Content tab of the new Course window can be used to apply for certification. After pressing this button, a new page will appear, allowing the user to enter the Content Title and Tags.

You’ll find a Certification option on the Document tab, and you can select the Company from the list. Choose certification as your course type and save your changes. All of the other options are the same as in the new content creation box.

In the create Course window’s Description tab, enter details about the course.

You can add information about the course, access rights, communication, and display under the Options tab. From the course options, choose the Responsible person and Website. The Enroll policy is a requirement to enroll everyone whose Access Rights are set to Public or On Invitation or payment. After selecting On Invitation, a new option called Enroll message appears at the bottom to help with the enrollment processing message for responsible contacts. Allowing users to rate courses, favorite content, and leave comments is an option. Choose the Forum and the New Content Email option to notify attendees when new content is available. Attendees receive a Completion Email after completing the course, which you can choose from the dropdown menu. The Communication Tab has all of these options. Select Training/Documentation as the Display option, and Public/Members as the Visibility option. Promoted information appears if you select the Documentation from the Display option. Last Published, Most Viewed, None, Most Voted, and Specific are some of the options under Promoted Content.

You can add rewards for completing the course or reviewing it. In the Karma tab, enter the Access Rights such as Add Review, Add Comment, and Vote. Karma needed to add a course review using Add Review and make a comment on a course slide using Add Comment. After filling in all details, click the Save button in the Course.

In the eLearning Overview dashboard, the newly created course is shown. The List view shows the details such as Name, Course Type, Visibility, Enroll Policy, Responsible Person, and Website.

Reporting => Courses

The Reporting tab allows you to access course reports.

You can use both list view and graph view for viewing the reports.

Courses => Contents

By clicking on a title, you can access a lot of details on the contents.

The Create button is used to create new course content.  Fill in the Tags and Content Title fields in the new Contents window. Carry out the processes we mentioned at the start of creating the course.

Reporting => Contents

The Contents menu on the Reporting page shows the analysis of created contents. List view and pivot view show more information about the contents.
